Growing Seasons
There are children all around us in constant pain. Not a physical pain, but an emotional pain as they try to deal with loss in their lives, either through the divorce of their parents or through the death of a loved one. Sadly very often we neglect to help the children in dealing with the complex emotions connected with loss, and they become scarred for the rest of their lives.
Growing Seasons is a 10-week, small group based course for children and is designed to facilitate open discussion with children about what they are feeling and experiencing. It is not counselling for the children, just a secure environment where they feel supported and free to deal with their pain. The course was developed by a ministry called ‘Turning Point’ and has proved to be very effective in our context in Cape Town.

Boundaries for Kids is an 8 week course for parents of children of all ages, from infancy to the teen years.Boundaries with Kids is the practical help parents need for raising their children to take responsibility for their own actions, attitudes and emotions.
Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend, co-authors of the book Boundaries with Kids, take you through the ins and outs of establishing family boundaries and of instilling the kind of character in your children that will help them lead balanced, productive and fulfilling adult lives.
